The Coconut Coast in Punta Cana, a place you need to visit

There is a place where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meets, it’s in theDominican Republic and its name is Punta Cana. This place is well known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters.

One of the many beautiful places you can visit while in Punta Cana is La Costa del Coco, this is a combination of two different places, The Bávaro Area and Punta Cana. This is where, according to locals, the best beaches in Dominican Republic are, or at least in the east coast side of this country.

The sand of the beaches here is spectacular, is among the best you can imagine, and the “coral sand” it’s so fine and white that you’ll think you’ll be walking on powder. But this dream beach is more than just its sand, the beaches in Punta Cana offers, besides gorgeous natural landscapes, activities for the boldest ones like water skiing, or diving in its coral reefs.

Another great place to visit while you’re there is the 1,500-acreIndigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve, this is a natural park that hosts hundreds of native species like the endangered Ridgway’s hawk. Also, on this site are 12 freshwater lagoons, called “eyes” by the pre-Colombian inhabitants due to their peculiar shape.

If exploring the natural wilderness of the place doesn’t appeal you, nearby you can practice your golf skills in a majestic course while you have the panoramic view of the best Caribbean landscapes. You can take a tour by horse through the coconut groves and along the beach, while the guide explains you the historical heritage of this beautiful place.

Stay in a Punta Cana hotel, lay down in a deckchair by the beach, and just relax while the Caribbean breeze pampers you, and leave Dominican Republic with amazing Punta Cana vacation memories.
